We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Planning Engineer to support project planning scheduling and progress control activities across complex engineering and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing monitoring and maintaining detailed project schedules ensuring effective coordination between engineering procurement and construction teams.
This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop maintain and update detailed project schedules using approved planning and scheduling tools
Establish work breakdown structures (WBS) activity sequencing and resource loading
Monitor project progress and analyze schedule variances risks and critical paths
Prepare schedule forecasts progress reports and performance metrics for management review
Coordinate planning activities with engineering procurement and construction teams
Support change management claims analysis and schedule impact assessments
Ensure planning practices comply with company standards and contractual requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related technical discipline
Minimum of 47 years of experience in planning scheduling or project controls
Proficiency with planning and scheduling software (e.g. Primavera P6 Microsoft Project)
Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
Knowledge of engineering construction or industrial project lifecycles
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with large-scale infrastructure energy or industrial projects
Professional certifications (PMP PSP or equivalent)
Familiarity with cost control and earned value management (EVM)
Compensation:
Annual Salary Range: $95000 $130000 USD commensurate with experience qualifications and location
