Job Summary
Warehouse Assistant Stellenbosch
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate stock handling efficient order preparation and safe well-organised warehouse operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid South African drivers license (Code B)
- National Senior Certificate / Matric
- Computer literate
- Minimum 1-year relevant warehouse or logistics experience
- Forklift license will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Receive offload and verify incoming stock against delivery notes and invoices
- Inspect stock for damage and report any discrepancies or quality issues
- Pick pack and prepare orders for dispatch to customers and technicians
- Maintain accurate stock levels and participate in regular stock counts
- Rotate stock according to FIFO (First In First Out) principles
- Monitor expiry dates and report short-dated expired or slow-moving stock
- Maintain cleanliness hygiene and order in all warehouse and storage areas
- Assist with deliveries and collections according to the daily schedule
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the company vehicle at all times
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects or maintenance requirements
- Assist with ad-hoc warehouse and operational duties as required
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and report any hazards or incidents
