About the role
The Senior Web Developer is responsible for designing developing enhancing and maintaining enterprise web applications using technologies. The role supports business operations within a regulated insurance environment and ensures compliance with the requirements policies and regulations of the Insurance Authority in Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities
- Design develop enhance debug maintain and test enterprise web applications using technologies.
- Lead and perform code reviews to ensure code quality performance scalability security and adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance support and mentorship to development team members.
- Develop integrate and maintain RESTful APIs and support legacy systems when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Identify technical debt propose technical improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines automation and quality engineering applications comply with cybersecurity data protection and regulatory requirements of the Insurance Authority.
- Develop shared and reusable components to improve system efficiency and maintainability.
- Perform other related duties as required in line with business needs.

- Head of IT IT team members Business Units Compliance Risk Management and Internal Audit
External:
- Technology vendors service providers consultants and regulatory stakeholders as required
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Masters Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (Preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in enterprise-level software development
- Experience in the insurance sector or a regulated environment 6 Years (Preferred)
Language Proficiency:
- Proficient in Arabic and English
Professional Certifications:
- Relevant technical certifications are preferred
- Relevant technical or professional certifications are an advantage (Preferred)
