Were seeking motivated individuals to join our Monitoring Field Teams in Pevensey or Rye. Youll carry out vital environmental monitoringrivers bathing waters effluents macroinvertebrates diatoms groundwater and fisherieshelping safeguard ecosystems and communities.
Youll train to become OfficerinCharge for electric fishing surveys gain experience in boat work and use innovative scheduling tools to enhance delivery. Youll collect and interpret data mentor colleagues and engage with the public and partners to ensure highquality outcomes.
This is a handson role: fieldwork can be physically demanding and requires resilience in all weather. Working independently youll need to be selfmotivated safetyconscious and return youll develop specialist skills play a key role in incident response and make a tangible difference to the environment.
