Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable and enthusiastic Science Technician to join a well-regarded secondary school in Essex. This is a full-time permanent position supporting a busy and successful Science department.
The Role
As a Science Technician you will:
Prepare equipment materials and chemicals for practical Science lessons
Support teaching staff during practical experiments across Biology Chemistry and Physics
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safe storage of resources
Adhere to health and safety procedures and risk assessments
Assist with stock control ordering and organisation of laboratories

Candidate Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience as a Science Technician or in a laboratory setting (desirable)

Is reliable proactive and able to work independently
Is legally able to work in the UK
