The Role
The Religious Studies Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality Religious Education across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience. The role requires a thoughtful engaging approach that inspires students to explore faith ethics and moral responsibility within a Catholic context.
Key responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging Religious Studies lessons in line with the Catholic ethos
Supporting students spiritual moral social and cultural development
Assessing tracking and reporting on student progress effectively
Contributing to collective worship liturgical life and school faith activities
Working collaboratively within the Religious Education department and wider school community
Candidate Profile
Qualified Religious Studies Teacher (QTS PGCE or equivalent)
Ability to teach Religious Studies at KS3KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the faith life of the school
Strong classroom management and positive behaviour strategies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Right to work in the UK
