Job Summary
A well-run secondary school in Swindon is seeking a dependable and proactive Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation safety and presentation of the school site. This is a key operational role within a supportive school environment where organisation security and health & safety are a priority.
The Role
You will be responsible for the effective management of the school premises working closely with leadership and site staff to ensure the site is safe secure and well maintained throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily site operations security and opening/closing procedures
Carrying out health and safety checks risk assessments and routine inspections
Managing reactive and planned maintenance tasks across buildings and grounds
Supervising caretaking and site staff where applicable
Liaising with external contractors and monitoring works on site
Supporting room setups events and examinations
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding health & safety and site regulations
