Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Product Specialist to join our fast-growing team. If you have a degree in a relevant field such as environmental civil chemical and energy engineering or have some work experience with life-cycle assessment (LCA) in construction or manufacturing and have an interest in software development you may be just the person we are looking for!

One Click LCA is a fast-growing and profitable Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) growth company. Used in 170 countries leading end-to-end sustainability platform for construction and manufacturing. The AI-powered software decarbonises and drives sustainability across the construction value chain with scientific easy-to-use automated LCA and environmental product declarations (EPDs) to calculate and reduce the environmental impacts of building infrastructure and renovation projects and products.
Our vision is that industry will manage carbon as it manages cost: measuring reporting and reducing carbon as standard business practice. One Click LCA provides practical solutions to make this happen.
This position provides you technical challenges a meaningful mission autonomy room for development and a diverse and friendly work environment. This is a great chance to become a true LCA expert as you will work closely with experienced colleagues who are acknowledged experts in their respective construction industry domains.
This full-time permanent position is available on a remote basis for candidates based in Europe.
What you will do:
Create new product LCA generator tools for the construction industry that are accurate and user-friendly
Update existing tools to follow changes in regulation and improve our services overall
Ensure quality performance and timely delivery of new and improved tools
Work in collaboration with colleagues from different departments including software developers quality assurance engineers data and product managers
Troubleshoot and solve issues as and when needed
Test and manage product configurations that define tool behaviour
Work towards reducing complexity and variability in product configuration
Document thoroughly changes you make to product configurations as well as continuously improving product configuration practices
What you need:
Degree in environmental civil chemical energy engineering or similar (Masters degree is seen as a plus)
Interest in software tool development (Previous experience in the software industry is seen as a plus)
Ability to read and edit structured documents (as JSON XML) (Experience with GitHub and Jira is seen as a plus)
Knowledge and interest in LCA and sustainability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Creative thinking and solution-focus mindset
Autonomous and well organised
Attention to detail and quality
Clear and direct style of communication in a team setting
Full professional fluency in English as it is our working language
