We are looking for a senior Strategic Account Executive for the Public Sector in Spain responsible for developing and closing large-scale commercial AI contracts across national regional and institutional public administrations.
This role is purely business-driven and focused on commercial execution. The successful candidate will act as a trusted strategic partner to public institutions capable of engaging at executive and political levels and closing high-value multi-year AI contracts (78 figures).
Define and execute the commercial growth strategy for the public sector in Spain.
Identify develop and close large AI contracts with public administrations and public institutions.
Build and manage a robust pipeline of strategic accounts and long-term opportunities.
Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with:
Ministries and Secretariats of State
Regional governments and public agencies
CIOs CTOs Chief Data / AI Officers and executive leadership
Position Multiverse Computing as a long-term AI partner for public institutions.
Represent the company in high-level institutional and executive forums when required.
Lead complex public procurement processes including:
Public tenders
Framework agreements
Direct negotiations where applicable
Coordinate internally to ensure proposals are competitive compliant and commercially sound.
Drive contracts from opportunity identification through signature and handover.
Commercially position Multiverses AI offerings including:
Enterprise AI platforms (hybrid & on-prem)
Proprietary and corporate LLM solutions
AI performance and cost optimization solutions
Translate institutional needs into concrete AI solutions with clear operational and economic value.
Work closely with product technical legal and delivery teams to ensure successful contract execution.
Provide market and customer feedback to support product and go-to-market evolution.
1015 years of experience in strategic sales business development or account management within the public sector.
Proven track record of closing large complex commercial contracts with public administrations.
Strong understanding of public procurement and contracting processes in Spain.
Experience selling complex technology or infrastructure-backed solutions.
Comfortable operating at executive and political decision-making levels.
Strong negotiation influence and stakeholder management skills.
High level of autonomy credibility and strategic thinking.
Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
Experience in large technology providers systems integrators or consulting firms serving the public sector.
Existing senior-level institutional network within Spanish public administrations is a strong advantage.
