As an Emergency Veterinarian you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of medical conditions and emergencies. Youll collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to provide immediate care and support to pet owners helping to make a difference in the lives of both animals and their families.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency care and treatment to animals in critical condition
Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostic tests
Administer medications vaccines and other treatments as needed
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment options
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Participate in continuing education and professional development
Manage and oversee the emergency treatment area

**Qualifications**

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree obtained from an accredited veterinary school

- Proven experience in emergency medicine and surgical interventions within high-pressure scenarios

- Effectively operates in high-acuity environments demonstrating adaptability and teamwork under stress

- Exhibits excellent communication and collaboration abilities essential for interdisciplinary cooperation

- Committed to providing outstanding and compassionate emergency care to patients and their owners
