Our qualified tyretechniciansprovidea critical operational rolein undertakingplanned and reactive tyre changes maintenanceandroutine inspections. Assessing wheel components toensure tyresremainin serviceon a range of mobilemining equipment on some of the largest machines in the worldis essential. This opportunity will allow you to become a fully qualified OTR(off the road) Tyre Fitter a position that offers responsibilitydevelopmentand diversity of work. THE ROLEAs a Trainee your programstarts with a fully paid industry-leadingtheory-basedcourse conducted in one of our in-house training facilities. This includes our tailored mine site readiness program in either Perth WA or Hunter Valley NSW for the initial 4 weeks. After completionyou will be guaranteed a role at one of our many mine sites nationally where you will continue your on-the-job training. The rosters vary though generally are family friendly. You will receive guaranteed generous wage increases at each stage of training milestones and YOU WILL LEARN How to fitremoveand perform maintenance on wheels on any type of vehicle Perform inspections anddeterminethe suitability of wheel components Enter data and record information into ourOtracomtyre management database Maintain pressures and qualityin accordance withsite specifications Uphold our commitment toprovidea high levelof service to our clientsABOUT YOUWe are seeking people that are looking to join our inclusive organisation and begin a genuine career within the tyre are looking for those who ideally work cooperativelyin a team environment and possess excellent communication skills. Hold a valid driving licence (minimumopen C class manual licence) Hold a Worksafe (HRWL) Forklift Ticket A strong safety and procedural focus Mechanical aptitude would beadvantageous Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A team player Ability to alwaysrepresentour company professionally Ability to pass pre-employment medical Drug and Alcohol Screening and a current police checkNo experience in Tyre Fitting is necessary. We are seeking highly motivated applicants with a can do attitude with the desire to learn and grow within our RETURN WE OFFERThe successful applicants will have the rare opportunity of being paid to learn. We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and at the end of your training you will hold a nationally recognised certificate in Tyre Servicing Technology which will enable you towork on any tyre including all earthmoving tyres anywhere in the world.
