Production Associate (Packaging)

JonnyPopsis seeking askilled andexperiencedPackagingOperator Level 1to join our team. As aPackagingOperator Level 1 you will be responsible forpackagingpopsinto role requires attention to detail strongproblem-solvingskillsand the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Understands proper handling of packages reworkwip and keeping popsfrozen

• Actively engages in communication and asks questions asneeded

• Can pack pops with reasonable speed andaccuracy

• Knows what do when the line isdown

• Reports all discovered mistakes regardless of the responsibleparty

• Routinely verifies correct packing is being used throughout theday

• Fill out paperwork completely andaccurately

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workenvironment

• Handles food ingredients with care and proper sanitarytechniques

• Work collaboratively with other members of the production team to meet productiongoals

• Maintain a clean and organized work area following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

• Knows food safety well sources of potential harm and proper use ofPPE

• Strongknowledge of food processing equipment including mixers blenders and scales

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-pacedenvironment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods oftime

• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime asneeded

Food Safety Responsibilities

• Following GMPs when performing repairs and maintenance activities in production and storage areas including the proper use of GMP apparel
• Follow guidelines when performing maintenance on food contact surfaces including using food grade lubricants
• Follow guidelines to tag equipment after performing maintenance to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation

Certificates Licenses Registrations or Other Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00-$24.00 per hour
