The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director of Creative Strategy and Services and serving as a member of the Creative Strategy and Services Team The Web and Social Digital Fundraiser is responsible for managing the organizations website as a fundraising tool ensuring best practices in brand alignment user experience compliance and performance. While the focus of this role is the website the Web and Social Digital Fundraiser also oversees the organizations social media strategy implementation to meet fundraising and lead-generation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Strategy and Management
- Website Strategy & Management: Plan implement manage monitor and upgrade the organizations websites in alignment with brand strategy and standards.
- Content Management: Oversee website content including posting new blogs donation forms and landing pages content editing existing materials including graphics and conducting audits to ensure accuracy relevance and compliance with watchdog safeguarding and data protection policies.
- Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Microsite: Plan implement manage monitor and upgrade the organizations P2P in alignment with brand strategy and standards in order to enhance the peer-to-peer digital giving experience and revenue. Strategize and deliver a robust plan to promote and attract new digital peer-to-peer fundraising volunteers and provide technical support to fundraisers and donors as needed.
- Performance & Optimization: Monitor and assess website performance using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase traffic and conversions.
- Technical Maintenance & Security: Troubleshoot technical issues ensure the website is protected by appropriate security measures (firewalls SSL certificates) and manage domain and hosting registrations.
- User Experience (UX): Coordinate with off-site developers and support team to continuously improve the user experience and accessibility ensuring the website is intuitive visually appealing and responsive across all devices.
- Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments (Creative IT Philanthropy Program and Partnerships) and external vendors or developers to coordinate projects and implement new features.
- SEO & Digital Marketing: Implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and maintain best practices to ensure optimal digital acquisition and revenue.
- Social Media Strategy and Management
- Channel Management: In partnership with Fundraising Writer utilize social media to generate leads and revenue by amplifying the SOS USA brand communicate stories that exemplify our vision and mission and compel people to generously take action to support our work.
- Content Management: Generate graphics and publish engaging text images and video content for platforms such as Facebook Instagram Twitter/X LinkedIn and TikTok. Maintain a detailed content calendar and ensure all posts are scheduled and published on time.
- Listening: Conduct daily listening for communications monitoring and update leadership as needed.
- Community Management: Monitor all social media channels respond to comments messages and mentions promptly and cultivate engagement with followers to build a strong online community.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and social media metrics (e.g. engagement rate reach follower growth) using analytics tools. Prepare monthly reports summarizing performance and suggesting data-driven optimizations.
- Strategy & Collaboration: Assist in the development and implementation of the overall social media strategy. Collaborate with internal teams Creative IT Philanthropy Program and Partnerships) to align social media initiatives with broader organizational objectives and brand guidelines.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices platform updates algorithm changes and emerging trends to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- The Web and Social Digital Fundraiser will commit to SOS Childrens Villages Internationals Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy to maintain organizational wide values and prioritize the protection of children in all circumstances (Safeguarding children - SOS Childrens Villages International ()).

- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Highly collaborative
- Strong organizational skills; detail oriented
- Proficient in using data to measure outcomes identify trends and inform decisions

Salary & Benefits
- $60000-$70000 annual salary depending on experience
- Generous benefits package including Flexible PTO unpaid parental leave and 12 paid holidays. Following the applicable waiting period this position is also eligible for medical dental and vision insurance (single and family) company paid Basic Life and Disability coverage (short- and long-term) as well as additional voluntary benefits and a 403(b) plan with match.
