Dental Hygienist Santa Fe Indian Health CenterSanta Fe NM (with rotation to Santa Clara Health Center and Cochiti Health Clinic)Details Three openings Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM 5:00 PM No weekends no call no federal holidays Pay: $28.50 per hour $1729 weekly per diem $2386 gross per week at 40 hours $59.65 combined hourly (taxed and non-taxed)Duties Perform child and adult prophylaxis periodontal debridement scaling/root planing and administer anesthesia Conduct oral health evaluations risk assessments charting vitals and radiographs Document in Dentrix and support dentist with treatment planning Provide patient education on oral hygiene disease prevention tobacco cessation and nutrition Deliver preventive services including sealants fluoride and desensitizing agents Maintain infection control sterilize instruments and follow chairside protocols Support recall systems and participate in staff meetings for program improvementRequirements Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program (Associate or Bachelor) Current unrestricted U.S. dental hygiene license (any state DC PR or U.S. territory) Minimum 24 months of dental hygiene experience including at least 12 months in specialty Strong resume showing ability to perform outlined duties
