Job Purpose:
- To provide a high level of Customer Service in accordance with Condor Ferries standards to both clients and the general public. To ensure that best working practice is always followed paying special attention to all Port and Company Health and Safety regulations.
- Complete Customs declarations using specific software and HMRC systems.
Key Responsabilities:
- Complete Customs Import Export and GBS&S declarations using specific software and HMRC systems for Imports and Exports to/from the Channel Islands/EU
- Using the CNS system for inventory linking Ports and GVMS
- Deal with taking VAT and other Customs charges from our customers
- This role requires attention to detail and accuracy ensuring compliance with customs and other regulations.
- Liaise with customers by phone/email regarding Customs declarations and queries.
- Carry out additional duties or functions delegated by the Port Manager other Managers and Supervisors.

Type of contract : Permanent
Working Hours :40h / week
Two week rota basis:
Rota One: AM : 06.00hrs 14.30hrs
Rota Two: PM : 11.30hrs -20.00hrs
Weekends To be covered one weekend in four
Condor Ferries was founded in 1964 and initially operated a passenger service between France and the Channel 1985 the first service linking the Channel Islands with the UK was launched and since then Condor Ferries has operated a year-round service connecting the UK Guernsey and Jersey and the port of St Malo in France. Each year we carry over 1 million passengers and 200000 passenger vehicles on our services.
