Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team in 6th of October City Egypt. As the first point of contact for our guests you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience for all patrons.
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about the restaurant
- Maintain an organized and clean reception area
- Assist in resolving any customer concerns or complaints
- Keep track of wait times and communicate updates to guests
- Ensure menus are clean and up-to-date
- Assist with special events or large group bookings
- Maintain knowledge of menu items daily specials and promotions
Qualifications :
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
- Previous customer service experience preferably in a restaurant setting
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- High level of energy and professionalism at all times
- Excellent personal presentation and grooming standards
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and dining etiquette
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for managing reservations and table assignments
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
