Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant Kensington & Chelsea / Hammersmith & Fulham Immediate Start

Are you a Psychology Graduate eager to gain meaningful experience working with young people who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

Ribbons & Reeves are looking for empathetic driven and academically strong Psychology Graduates to join our outstanding partner schools across Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience supporting students on a 1:1 and small-group basis while developing the skills needed for a future career in Educational Psychology Teaching or Child Development.

The role of a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • Work closely with students aged 1118 who have a range of SEND needs including Autism (ASC) ADHD Speech & Language difficulties and Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group interventions helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.

  • Support teachers in creating inclusive and engaging classroom environments.

  • Monitor student progress and contribute to personalised learning plans.

  • Collaborate with SENCOs therapists and support staff to ensure every child receives the care and guidance they need.

What were looking for:

  • A 1st Class or 2:1 degree in Psychology from a leading UK university.

  • A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting those with additional learning needs.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with empathy and patience at the core of your approach.

  • Any experience working with children or vulnerable individuals whether through tutoring youth work mentoring or volunteering is highly valued.

  • A long-term commitment and a passion for pursuing a career in education or psychology.
