Description of Work

The ACDP District Manager WEST position reports directly to the Alcoholism and Chemical Dependency Programs (ACDP) Section Chief. It is responsible for the overall operation of ACDP prison-based substance use disorder programs and services within the defined district. Additionally this position directs the work of ACDP in the design implementation and quality assurance of the substance use disorder clinical program at Black Mountain Substance Abuse Treatment Center for women which is a community-based program for female probation/parole offenders operated by the Division of Rehabilitation and Reentry. This position directly manages Substance Abuse Program Managers/Coordinators and others as assigned. The District Manager West position is assigned to an ACDP Office within the district and extensive weekly/monthly travel is required to district programs and Black Mountain Substance Abuse Treatment Center for Women

Salary Range $67852.00 - $118741.00

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits **Applicants must pass a background check to be eligible for this job.**

Management Preference

  • Executive management experience includes departmental clinical policy and procedure development fiscal management responsibility for merit- based hiring decisions and the application of NCDAC disciplinary policy.
  • Extensive experience designing rehabilitative programs operating within a correctional or community treatment environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce professional documents and make oral presentations
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to include facility and regional management within the Division of Institutions.
  • LCAS (Fully Credentialed)
  • 5 years Experience in upper-level management

Minimum Education and Experience

Masters degree in a disciple specific to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of experience in the area of assignment including two years in a supervisory or consultative capacity;

Bachelors degree in a discipline specific to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and six years of experience in the area of assignment including two years in a supervisory or consultative capacity;

OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience.
