Hybrid - In-Office 3 Days Remote 2 Days
Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Intern to join our talented engineering team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students enrolled in computer science software engineering or a related field to gain hands-on experience in software development project collaboration and technology implementation within a dynamic environment.
What youll do:
- Software Development: Assist software engineers in designing developing testing and debugging applications and features within the Boomi platform.
- Collaboration: Work in a collaborative team environment participating in code reviews team meetings and project discussions to gain insights into Agile development processes.
- Product Testing: Help develop and execute unit tests integration tests and user acceptance tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation including design specifications user manuals and process documentation.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices to support engineering initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues by analyzing logs debugging code and working with other team members.
The Experience You Bring:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript.
- Understanding of software development principles and methodologies including Agile and DevOps practices.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about software functionality and performance.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities with a willingness to learn from others.
- Eagerness to take on new challenges and apply theoretical knowledge in practical real-world scenarios.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code Cursor AWS Q etc.

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly rate of pay will range from CAD $17.40 - CAD $23 / Hour. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidates knowledge skills experience and geographic location.
