Job Summary
Lead Engineer AWS Java Microservices TypeScript Kafka Docker/Kubernetes
Experience - 8-12 Years
Roles and Responsibilities
- Demonstrable experience leading and building scalable microservices and eventdriven applications.
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges from design through to production.
- Address technical debt with a pragmatic and commercially focused approach.
- Translate requirements into highquality engineering deliverables.
- Deliver reusable scalable solutions used across teams and products.
- Collaborate across teams and align technical decisions with business goals.
- Expertise in observability and reliability practices using tools such as:
- OpenTelemetry
- Prometheus
- Grafana
- CloudWatch
- Strong understanding of security best practices including:
- HashiCorp Vault
- AWS Secrets Manager
- Certificate lifecycle management
- Experience with testing methodologies such as TDD and BDD and automation frameworks.
- Ability to design and implement dataintensive distributed architectures including APIs microservices event-driven designs and serverless patterns.
- Knowledge of deployment strategies and SRE principles.
- Interest or experience in AI/ML technologies and emerging engineering tools.

- Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar plugin patterns
- Useful for squads owning AI ChatBots for developer enablement
