QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

Minimum Requirements:

Current Michigan School Administrator certification or enrolled in a program leading to School Administrator certification within six months after start of employment.
Ability to inspire wonder in students and staff.
Ability and willingness to think outside of the box
Effective conflict resolution skills
Dedicated to the success of the whole child and family
Able to stay focused and self-assured despite the barrage of personal and professional challenges common during rapid systemic reconfiguration.
Cleared criminal background check and signed statement regarding felony indictments/convictions
Effective use of technology as a means of analyzing academic achievement data and as a tool to aid in communications with stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication using proper grammar and vocabulary.
Exemplary work habits verified by previous employers.
Strong interpersonal skills.

Desired Requirements

Successful experience as a teacher.
Previous experience in a school leadership role.
Knowledge and skills working with At-Risk students.
