Job Summary:
As a Senior Software Engineer you will design build and integrate core platform services for a Human Capital Management (HCM) product suite. The role focuses on foundational capabilities such as unified authentication shared administration tools and core data models supporting the migration and modernization of enterprise platforms. You will work with the Microsoft technology stack enterprise identity systems and distributed architectures while collaborating closely with cross-functional product teams.
Responsibilities
Design develop and integrate backend services supporting the Foundation Data Model and Common Management Tools (CMT) using C# Core.
Implement and configure a unified Single Authentication Entry Point across HCM products aligned with enterprise identity standards.
Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using SAML SSO and identity providers such as Okta.
Design develop and optimize relational database schemas and SQL queries to support core entity persistence.
Develop and maintain user interface components for the Common Administration Console using Angular.
Integrate messaging queues and event-driven components using RabbitMQ to ensure reliable inter-service communication.
Leverage logging and search platforms such as Elastic to improve observability monitoring and system diagnostics.
Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to HCM product teams during platform migration and modernization efforts.
Qualifications
Must-have
5 years of experience developing enterprise-grade applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
Proven experience building backend services using C# Core.
Hands-on experience implementing SAML-based authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
Experience integrating third-party identity providers such as Okta.
Solid understanding of distributed systems microservices architecture and platform engineering principles.
Proficiency working with SQL-based relational databases (e.g. SQL Server PostgreSQL).
Front-end development experience using Angular for enterprise applications.
Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ.
Nice-to-have
Experience using Elastic or similar platforms for logging search and system observability.
Prior involvement in large-scale platform migration or modernization initiatives.
Experience collaborating across multiple teams and providing technical mentorship.
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in complex evolving environments.
