CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER II (CNMII)

Bon Secours Hospital Cork is part of the Bon Secours Health System which is the largest independent hospital group in Ireland with over 2500 staff including 350 leading consultants. We treat more than 200000 patients annually. We are now inviting applications for the above posts from suitably qualified and experienced candidates.

The successful applicant will be required to always enhance and maintain the highest standards in patient care. You will be required to contribute to the effective use of all hospital resources at your disposal and you will be required to maximise staff development in a learning environment. This will include support motivation and guidance for all employees within your remit.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of post-registration experience in an acute general care setting.
• At least 2 years of nurse management experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience in Medical is highly advantageous.

Qualifications:

• A relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
• A management qualification is essential.

Skills & Responsibilities:

• Ability to precept teach and assess students and junior staff members.
• Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland).
