Job Summary
We are partnering with a leading international financial institution on a confidential search for a Crest / Stock Lending Settlements Clerk to join their expanding Operations team. The organization is known for its focus on operational excellence crossborder collaboration and strong commitment to employee development. This role sits within a highperforming settlements function supporting multiple markets across Europe and beyond.
As a Crest / Stock Lending Settlements Clerk you will play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate prematching and settlement of equity and stock lending trades across a wide range of international markets. You will act as a critical point of control within the trade lifecycle maintaining strong communication lines with internal stakeholders clearers and external counterparties to ensure smooth and riskaware settlement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing pending and unmatched trades to ensure readiness for settlement.
- Handling trade queries from trading desks clearers and client counterparties.
- Reviewing and acting on prematching reports and trade status updates across multiple systems including Crest GUI and other clearing platforms.
- Identifying settlement risks escalating issues and communicating resolution paths clearly.
- Executing and overseeing the settlement of equity and stock lending trades across international markets.
- Monitoring failed trades providing fails reporting to internal stakeholders and working to minimize settlement breaks.
- Managing funding and risk notifications for markets under your supervision.
- Collaborating with internal teams across Operations trading desks and posttrade services to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
What Were Looking For:
- Strong understanding of settlement processes within equity and stock lending markets.
- Solid market knowledge and familiarity with execution broker workflows.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with traders clearers clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage priorities independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Highly organized detailoriented and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
