Job Summary
As an Accounts Payable Intern your main focus will be accurately recording invoices and making timely payments for the entities youre assigned to. Youll ensure that all accounting follows policies and procedures and communicate effectively to minimize departmental risks. Your role is important for daily financial operations and maintaining good supplier relationships. Expect to work under tight deadlines especially during month-end close activities. Youll also have chances to participate in projects and growth initiatives as you progress in the company.
Responsibilities
- Manual & automated invoice processing for the assigned entities.
- Timely and accurate batch & manual payments to suppliers and employees.
- Reconciliations for AP-related accounts.
- Continuous improvement on DPO/IC processes.
- Monitoring and improving the Purchase to Pay process.
You will be part of a flexible and dynamic team of dedicated and driven AP professionals from different nationalities. We have created a very informal and supportive environment where we communicate openly and honestly and value each others input. We brainstorm together to tackle problems and face challenges head-on relying on the team for help.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship
- Internship must be a mandatory component of the study program
- Studying towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in the area of Finance Economics Accounting or related
- Proficiency in English
- Available for 6 months
- Starting January/February 2026
