Position Title: Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) Location: Aurora Lakewood Colorado (VA Rocky Mountain Regional Medical Center Fisher House Valor Point Domiciliary) Employment Type: Full-Time On-Site Certification Requirement: Active Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) credential issued by IHEA Position Summary The Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) provides on-site supervision training and oversight of janitorial and housekeeping services performed under this contract. The CEH ensures all cleaning services are executed in full compliance with the VA policies infection control standards OSHA requirements and Quality Control requirements applicable to healthcare facilities in Colorado. Minimum Required Qualifications - Active Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) credential issued by IHEA
- Minimum one (1) year of prior experience as a CEH Manager within the last three (3) years as required by the PWS
- Demonstrated experience supervising housekeeping services in a healthcare or similar regulated environment
- Ability to work on-site in Colorado facilities during required duty hours
Key Responsibilities - Supervise and train all contract housekeeping personnel
- Develop implement and evaluate environmental sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with contract standards
- Ensure cleaning tasks meet healthcare-level aseptic and infection control standards
- Monitor adherence to VA-provided disinfectants supplies and approved cleaning methods
- Conduct routine inspections of all assigned areas and verify completion of required cleaning tasks
- Identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly
- Support implementation and execution of the Quality Control Plan
- Maintain oversight of staff compliance with:
- Safety requirements
- PPE usage
- Uniform standards
- Conduct and hygiene standards
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and Site Supervisors regarding daily operations and performance issues
- Ensure contract personnel complete all required VA training prior to performing work
- Provide documentation and certifications to the COR as required before contract performance begins
Compliance and Conduct - Ensure all housekeeping services comply with VA policies OSHA regulations and infection prevention standards
- Enforce standards of conduct confidentiality safety and professionalism
- Support VA inspections audits and corrective action processes
