2HB Incorporated is seeking a Tempest Engineer in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction MD.Applicant will get to work on a team of TEMPEST engineers and SMEs performing TEMPEST testing and providing TEMPEST engineering recommendations to help ensure the security of our nations systems . Youll get to work onsite with the customer integrated into their team to ensure mission success.
Capabilities / Duties:
- EnsurethatTEMPESTtestingrequirementsaredefined bythecustomers Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA).
- Evaluateengineeringchangeproposal(ECP)packagestoensurethe proposedchangesdo notimpacttheTEMPEST integrityof thedeviceor if necessaryadditionalTEMPEST testing is performedtorecertify thedevice.
- Attendtechnicalmeetingswithcryptodeviceusers/customersCSCMs and vendor partners.
- ProvideTEMPESTlabtestingofcertifiedcryptographic devicesto ensureitmeets the current NationalTEMPESTstandard.
- PerformTEMPESTFieldtestingofcryptographicequipmenttodiscover vulnerabilitiesinsecure systems.
- ProvideSubjectMatterExpert(SME)supportwhenacryptographic device has a TEMPEST vulnerability.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Certified TEMPEST Professional Level II (CTP-II)
-3 years of experience with TEMPEST testing and/or TEMPEST manufacturing
- TS/SCI - FSP w/ MPO required ( current CI poly under 6 yrs)
PREFERRED
-Military or IC experience in a relevant technical or RF field is preferred.
