EY GDS - Data and Analytics Dremio Admin/Developer Senior

EYs financial services practice provides integrated advisory services to financial institutions and other capital markets participants including commercial banks retail banks investment banks broker-dealers & asset management firms and insurance firms from leading Fortune 500 Companies. Within EYs Advisory Practice Data and Analytics team solves big complex issues and capitalize on opportunities to deliver better working outcomes that help expand and safeguard the businesses now and in the future. This way we help create a compelling business case for embedding the right analytical practice at the heart of clients decision-making.

The opportunity

Were looking for a candidate with overall 3 5 years of experience and he/she should have strong expertise into Dremio Admin/Developer.

Platform Administration & Deployment

Deploy configure and maintain Dremio clusters (Kubernetes on-prem or cloud platforms such as AWS Azure GCP).
Manage environment upgrades patching node scaling and cluster health.
Configure and maintain Dremio components including executors coordinators reflections and source connectors.

Security Access Controls & Governance

Define implement and manage role-based access control (RBAC) across projects spaces datasets and data sources.
Configure user authentication and identity federation via LDAP Active Directory SSO/SAML OAuth or cloud IAM.
Manage permissions for datasets VDS PDS and reflections following least-privilege principles.
Enforce data governance policies including lineage visibility tagging masking and audit compliance.
Conduct periodic access reviews and support audit compliance and security teams.
Create Dremio views for files in s3 buckets and tables in redshift clusters
Manage connectivity credentials refresh schedules and metadata extraction.
Troubleshoot connection and query issues across heterogeneous data sources.
Monitor cluster health system logs job performance and resource utilization.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to query failures reflections metadata and system performance.
Provide operational support for Dremio users including performance tuning and query optimization recommendations.
Create runbooks operational documentation and best practices for internal teams.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

Work closely with data engineers analysts and platform teams to support BI and analytics workloads.
Participate in architecture discussions and propose improvements to the data ecosystem.
