Floor Stocker-Agave's- Full Time (Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino)

JOB SUMMARY:

Plays a key role in assisting the Agaves wait staff by owning the service well sorting dishes completing beverage orders and stocking service well.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Scrape dirty dishes glassware and silver as received from servers then carry items back to the dishwashing area in an approved manner.
2. Restock water glasses coffee cups utensils and condiments as required.
3. Possess the ability to effectively communicate in a clear professional and friendly manner with all employees
4. Work closely with servers as well as management to ensure maintenance of par levels of all essential tools.
5. Maintain an adequate level of required supplies at all times
6. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in assigned areas at all times
7. Replenish ice in the soda machines and refill all beverage machines as well as maintaining their cleanliness.
8. Maintain a clean floor in the side stations and entry ways
9. Work with the servers as a team to provide excellent and ongoing service to our guests.
10. Expedite and run food as needed
11. Adhere to regulatory departmental and company policies

ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES:

1. Other duties as assigned
2. Act as a role model to other employees and always present oneself as a credit to Harrahs and encourages others to do the same

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• 1 year of work experience in a food operating field preferred

• Must be able to maneuver to all areas of assigned restaurant throughout entire shift.
• Must be able to lift trays and bus tubs with heavy items at shoulder level.
• Must be able to clean tables in a timely fashion.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to reach across tables.
• Must be able to push or pull 300 lbs. on a cart or dolly.
• Must be able to stoop and bend as necessary.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
