General Summary: Under the supervision ofthe Medical Services Manager the Medical Receptionist performs administrative functions for the medical staff of Intermountain Centers Tucson Health Home a psychiatric outpatient clinic. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Greets members and visitors in person or by telephone answering or referring their appointments in person or by with keeping members appointments on schedule by notifying staff of members customer service by answering members questions; conducts interactions in a confidential courteous professional and timely the reception area keeping it organized and checks with nursing staff to provide assistance with certified mail copying faxes chart retrieval office equipment. Performs inventory control and orders information on community resources for medical to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of maintains and updates files logs manuals and handbooks for medical an approved schedule and acceptable level of other duties as assigned or necessary as they relate to the general nature of :Education High School Diploma/GED Required Experience 2-4 years of office experience including working with the public required; medical office experience preferred.
