Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in data integration and ETL pipeline development particularly between Snowflake and diverse data sources. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Python automation and healthcare data standards with a background in Managed Care or Value-Based Care environments.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration between Snowflake and other systems.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
- Develop automation scripts in Python to streamline data workflows and processes.
- Work with healthcare data formats such as EDI X12 HL7/FHIR JSON and APIs for claims and clinical data exchange.
- Ensure data quality integrity and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Payers and Providers to support Managed Care and Value-Based Care initiatives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 4 years of experience in data engineering or integration roles.
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL and Python scripting.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data pipeline orchestration.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (EDI X12 HL7/FHIR) and related APIs.
- Knowledge of Managed Care / Value-Based Care models and workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Exposure to data governance and compliance frameworks (HIPAA).
- Background in payer/provider systems and healthcare analytics.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence).
- Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins Git Deployment Manager).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
