Your Impact
As aSenior Backend Engineer (m/f/d) at 7Mind youll be part of a cross-functional team building technology that supports mental wellbeing at scale. You work end-to-end on features take ownership of backend services and help shape a system that is reliable maintainable and a pleasure to work with.
In 2025 we fully rewrote and relaunched the 7Mind app and backend. Our new platform follows Domain-Driven Design principles and deliberately focuses ondelightfully boring solutions: simple robust and built to last.
7Mind is part of the 7NXT Health Group (BuddyFit Gymondo) bringing together strong engineering culture and a clear purpose: empowering people to live healthier lives.

Your Mission
- Build and evolve backend features end-to-end: from concept and implementation to deployment and monitoring
- Write clean testable and maintainable code with a strong focus on long-term quality
- Maintain and improve integrations with third-party services
- Ensure a stable observable and scalable backend in a B2C environment
- Take and share ownership of your services and share responsibility for the overall system
- Discuss trade-offs openly with product design and other stakeholders
- Contribute to a strong engineering culture through code reviews documentation and knowledge sharing

Your Story
- 5 years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend development
- Proficiency in Elixiror any other modern backend language paired with a strong interest in mastering Elixir
- Solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP REST caching cookies WebSockets asset loading)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments
- A strong sense for clean architecture maintainable and testable code
- Product mindset: you balance technical excellence with user value and business impact
- Clear communication and documentation skills in English
- Experience or interest in mobile or web development
- Kubernetes configuration or administration
- Linux system administration
- RDBMS SQL
- Experience with Golang Kotlin or Dart
- Familiarity with Google Cloud or AWS
