What youll do
As part of our Daily Banking area you will join one of the 4 Deposits squads a high-performance team of 5-6 engineers (including a Staff Engineer Seniors and Mid-level devs). We are responsible for the core engine that handles deposit accounts meaning you will work on mission-critical features where performance precision and scalability are paramount.
We value freedom to implement and high autonomy. While we have a structured onboarding process including a dedicated buddy and a month of deep-dive exercises into our business logic we expect you to bring a proactive mindset from day one.
You will:
Build and maintain scalable Java applications focused on complex financial calculations and high-performance deposit processing.
Dont just implement tasks; take initiative. Identify architectural bottlenecks and propose modern resilient solutions.
Translate business requirements into robust technical designs working closely with your squad to ensure high-quality delivery.
Conduct rigorous code reviews and champion best practices in TDD and automated testing.
Debug complex issues and participate in on-call rotations to ensure the reliability of our global lending and deposit platform.
What youll bring
5 years (minimum 3 professional) of experience in Java development with a deep understanding of the ecosystem.
Proven ability to design scalable resilient systems. You dont just write code; you think about how it fits into the entire ecosystem.
Strong experience with JUnit Mockito and TDD. You believe that a feature isnt done until its fully tested.
Solid experience with MySQL or other relational databases specifically focused on performance tuning for high-volume transactions.
High level of initiative and adaptability. You are comfortable working independently and mentoring mid-level engineers.
