About this Job
Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is seeking a Technician ( PRN)to join our team! We are a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. We offer a wide range of services including general surgery and a 24-hour emergency department. At Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center we are able to bring you a wide range of services close to home provided by a network of board-certified physicians.This Technician (PRN) position performs Phlebotomist duties at Lallie Kemp Medical Center.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of experience or training in nursing phlebotomy or as a medical lab assistant medical lab technician or in medical research that included drawing blood from patients; OR
Certification or eligibility for certification as a Phlebotomist by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners; OR
Six semester hours earned from an accredited college or university in a biological science or chemical science field or nursing.
Position-Specific Details:
About this job:This is a PRN position there is no set length of employment ineligible for benefit package state retirement holiday pay and leave earnings compensation for number of hours worked only.
Work Location: This Technologist position is located in the Pathology Department .
Work Hours: Applicant is subject to work evenings nights weekends or holidays.
