Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following other duties may be assigned)
Responsible for complex technical work in a wide range of environmental health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with the organizations EHS standards and with federal and state regulatory requirements. Reviews interprets and advises management on complex safety problems. Has complete understanding of safety principles concepts practices standards and regulations. Reviews plant safety procedures and make recommendations for updates according to laws and regulations and good power plant practices. Investigates accidents injuries and complaints concerning hazards or uncomfortable conditions in the work place. Recommends improvements in processes design procedures and operating equipment to minimize the hazardous potential. Develops and conducts employee training emergency preparedness and quality assurance programs. Prepares and maintains all necessary environmental compliance documents and records. Coordinates the timely renewal of all permits stack tests boiler inspections etc. May serve as the key safety/environmental position in small field or plant locations.

- Works on problems of moderate complexity.
- Uses independent judgment within defined policies and practices. Interprets guidelines select methods techniques and analytical approach.
- Little instruction on day-to-day work general instructions on new assignments.
- May be designated project or technical lead for an ongoing process or short-term project within own department.
- Information sharing gives and receives information such as options technical direction instruction and reporting results.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or higher preferably in Engineering or Science.
- Requires 3 years experience in EHS preferably in the power generation industry.
- Ability to travel overnight 25% of the time.

- Salary Range - $112719.00 - $143717.00
