Summary:

The Technician for Catering Equipment plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability safety and efficiency of professional kitchen appliances across commercial foodservice environments. This position involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues with a wide range of equipment including gas and electric cooking systems refrigeration units dishwashers and ice machines.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment including gas and electric cooking appliances refrigeration systems dishwashers and ice machines.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and safety inspections to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.
Respond quickly and effectively to service requests providing timely technical support to maintain kitchen efficiency.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date service logs including repair history parts used and maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and operations teams to support seamless daily operations and address equipment-related challenges proactively.

Requirements

Secondary Education Certificate.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment (mandatory).
Proven technical proficiency in gas electrical and refrigeration systems.
Valid Drivers License: YES
English language proficiency at B2 level or equivalent.
