DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide analytics support to deliver commercial insights to internal business customers supporting key business commercial activities.
Mapping and reconciliation of invoice costs and fees across schemes channels
Perform data extraction manipulation processing and analysis managing multiple deliveries concurrently
Responsible for ensuring the schemes costs are in line with expectations monitoring and highlighting changes and exceptions to stakeholders.
Build new reconciliation processes from scratch including discovery data requirements setting report testing consolidation all to pre-set team standards
Drive initiatives around data reconciliation transparency and streamlining processes.
Use data led solutions to proactively solve business problems.
Maintain analytics dashboards in support of card scheme compliance programs.
Regular reviews of data to assist with the optimisation and accuracy of the PCI products.
Work directly with a broad range of stakeholders to understand business trends and help in optimising transparency and tracking of scheme fee data.
Ensures the delivery of MI and exception reporting to support various work streams ensuring accuracy within tight deadlines.
Working collaboratively across different business teams to deliver the end-to-end solutions solving problems via a combination of technology collaboration and innovation.
Identify areas for improvement such as automation process improvement or other best practice methodologies.
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS or ABILITIES / BEHAVIOUR)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics (required)
Minimum 6 years experience in the payments industry or high volume transaction environment (preferred but not required)
Minimum 4 years experience in a commercial or financial analyst position (preferred but not required)
Good understanding of Card Schemes and Payments Processing
Able to communicate effectively with influential internal and external stakeholders comfortable with translating tech-speak into layman terms for non-technical audiences
Interested in problem solving and creating solutions
Experienced in Excel and Google equivalent
