Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for completion of the day-to-day activities involving installation troubleshooting repair and maintenance of the production facility and related equipment and machinery including blown film extrusion lines to support the production process.
Pay - $30-$35/hr (based on experience)
Shift - 7am - 7pm & 7pm - 7am
**must be ok with working weekends**
Responsibilities:
-Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
- Preforming preventive maintenance in conjunction with maintaining production equipment during production.
-Reviews work orders prioritize them and perform the work in a professional manor.
-Diagnose problems replace or repair parts test and make adjustments.
-Requisitions tools equipment and supplies required for operations of repair.
-Perform simple machinist skills for fabricating parts as needed.
-Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic troubleshooting test and adjust the machines.
-Perform preventive maintenance on equipment machines facilities and faulty equipment.
-Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
-Use a variety of hand and power tools electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 10 years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic pneumatic mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.
-Blown film extrusion experience is preferred.
- Able to pass background check and a drug screen.
