The Role:
Our site inColorado SpringsRockrimmon COisseekinganEquipment Specialistto join our team.This role is a critical partof our team that will supportMicro contaminationControl group.
WhatYoullDo:
Engage with a variety of stakeholders includingFacilities R&D Maintenance and Reliability Automation & Controls Engineering Quality EHS Procurement and Operations personnel from global sites in the entire process from development to commissioning and qualification of equipment in Colorado Springs.
Collaborate with cross functional team to analyze manufacturing processes toidentifyopportunities for improvement and optimization inproductivity quality safety and ergonomicsfor equipment in Colorado Springs.
Use a variety of inputs Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Design for Maintenance and Reliability (DfMR) HAZOP Riskassessmentand FMEA to develop specificationdocumentfor the new or improved equipment.
Review equipment design electrical diagram P&ID floor layout user requirement specification (URS) Request for Pricing (RFP) Functional Acceptance Test (FAT)and commission plan.
Conduct Functional Acceptance Test (FAT) at vendor site and resolve all outstanding Punch Listissues of.
Co-work with various stakeholders for equipmentmovein hookup installation and qualification.
Develop and manage project plans to complete within schedule budget and quality constraints.
Create andmaintainall documentation for projects such as drawings SOPs specification FAT cost tracking qualificationprocedureand data.
Collaborate with engineers Maintenance and Reliability personnel and Operations to define PM programs (including spares inventoriesfrequencyand timingand etc.) for new assets.
Assistwith classic New Product/Process Engineering responsibilities if the business dictates. This would include troubleshooting failure analysis SPCQualityand Yield improvement.
Provide guidance and support to teammates to complete all assignedtask.
What We Seek:
ABachelorsDegree in mechanical/ electrical/ electromechanical/ manufacturing/ automation engineering preferred but related experience in lieu of education may also be considered.
4 years of working experience in the engineering field to deploy andmaintainequipment for a production environment.
Experience in equipment design development robotic and automation controlsystem HVAC and project management.
Experience working with industrial controlsystem PLC (i.e. Allen Bradly/Mitsubishi/Keyenceetc) and control devices such as motors pumps valves heatersovenandetc.
Ability to design/read electrical schematics P&IDs control drawings engineeringdrawingsand safety standards such as OHSA NFPA ULand etc.
Experience in SolidWorks/AutoCad/CAD modeling tool is a plus.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel and Project).
Motivated and self-directed team player with good interpersonal skills. Must haveabilityto reachoutcommunicateand influence personnel at all levels within the organization.
Strong communicationskills to coordinate equipment support and installation activities with internal and external team members.
Positive mindset with creativity good problem-solvingand analytical abilities.
Ability to multi-task organize and prioritize work and communicate status and changes to team members
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds wear PPE andworkingincleanroom environment as necessary.
Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally tosupport ofvarious engineering projectsassignment and training.

Compensation: $120K - $135K year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
