SUMMARY
The Site Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing all phases of residential construction from demolition to final finishes. This role combines skilled carpentry with leadership jobsite planning customer service quality control and daily coordination. The Site Supervisor works closely with the Project Manager (PM) to ensure work is completed safely efficiently on time and to the highest standards. A valid Construction Supervisors License (CSL) is required.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
- Review study & fully understand construction plans-know the inside & out!
- Walk the site with plans to identify issues early (i.e. scaffolding needs tree/parking/safety concerns)
- Collaborate with the PM to plan & adjust the construction schedule from start to finish
- Review & sign on project schedule reviews with PM
- Maintain & update a 3-week look-ahead schedule using an on-site whiteboard
- Communicate project updates & progress to homeowners clearly & professionally
- Always enforce jobsite safety standards & protocols
- Responsible for Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) & safety documentation
- Plan for & procure necessary safety materials
- Uphold & enforce Fresh Starts high-quality craftsmanship and cleanliness standards
- Manage & coordinate all subcontractors & vendors approved by PM
- Schedule daily activities for both FSC crew and subcontractors
- Ensure subs are properly prepared & the site is ready for their work
- Handle material takeoffs & place accurate orders to minimize unnecessary trips
- Receive & organize all materials delivered to the site
- Supervise & delegate tasks to carpenters and carpenters assistants
- Provide direction and guidance to crew & subs
- Use FSC app for communication scheduling and job documentation
- Assist clients as directed by PM
- Follow FSCs code of conduct in all professional interactions
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES NEEDED:
- High school diploma
- Truck and tools required
- Valid Construction Supervisor License (CSL) REQUIRED
- 8 years of carpentry/residential construction experience
- Strong understanding of residential construction tools materials & building codes
- Ability to read blueprints & technical documents
- Must provide own power tools & means to transport them
- Reliable vehicle & valid drivers license
- Able to lead a team solve problems on-site & work independently
- Willing to work in all weather conditions & overtime as needed
- Frequent lifting carrying bending standing climbing & use of tools (80lbs )
- Willing to work indoor and outdoor
JOB TYPE: Full-Time
PAY: $35.00-$45.00 Hourly
