Position Summary
The Department of Radiation Oncology in the School of Medicine at UNC -Chapel Hill invites applications for a tenure or non-tenure track faculty position (track and rank dependent on qualifications) with a focus on head and neck cancer at our Chapel Hill campus. We are seeking candidates with a strong interest in academic research including laboratory research clinical translational research and/or physics-based research. Proton therapy experience is preferred but not required. Leadership roles in head and neck cancer proton therapy and other areas may be available depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates must possess MD degree with subspecialty training in Radiation Oncology and be ABR certified or eligible.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience

The candidates primary clinical focus will be head and neck cancers. Applicants should have broad clinical abilities and must possess MD degree with subspecialty training in Radiation Oncology and be ABR certified or eligible. Proton experience and radiopharmaceutical authorized user status are desired but not required.
