About the Role

Senior Test Automation & CI/CD Engineer Endpoint Security

As a Senior Test Automation & CI/CD Engineer within Arctic Wolf you willbe responsible forensuring the quality reliability and seamless delivery of our Endpoint software across diverse platforms and environments. You will blend SDETexpertisewith DevOps/SRE practices to automate testing orchestrate deployments andmaintainproduction systems - from planning and coordination to deployment and support - ensuring every release is robust and minimally disruptive. You will collaborate closely with our Engineering Product and Customer Success teams to guarantee release readiness and high-quality delivery with a heavy focus on automation reliability and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of professional experience as an SRE Release Engineer or equivalent role

  • Strong background in quality engineering with an SDET mindset and familiarity with testing methodologies

  • Demonstrable working knowledge and experience with Python

  • Experience buildingmaintaining and improving Python-based automation and testing frameworks (e.g.PyTest)

  • Experience preparingreviewingand executing deployment plans runbooksMOPsand rollback procedures for complex production environments

  • Hands-on experience with multiple cloud platforms (e.g.AWS Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g.vSphere)

  • Proficiencyacross multiple operating systems and platforms (Windows Linux macOS; Intel ARM)

  • Experience working with or leading an Agile/Scrum team

  • Experience being directly involved in large-scale or enterprise software releases

  • Expertisein release automation and orchestration frameworks/tools

  • Experience with SQL or other data query/visualization tooling

  • Experience with CI/CD tooling and best practices (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions)

  • Experience with code quality tooling and best practices (e.g.SonarQube)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience debugging and deciphering network and/or endpoint device logs

  • Experience deploying agent-based software

  • Previousexperience on oradjacent toa team of SDETs

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC;e.g.Ansible Terraform) and configuration management tools

  • Experience with monitoring observability and alerting platforms (e.g.Grafana/Prometheus)

About the Role

Youllbe working as a Senior Engineer on our Endpoint Security - Production Engineering team responsible for ensuring quality through automation executing deployments andmaintainingthe reliability of Arctic Wolfs endpoint software across multiple platforms and cloud environments.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will be:

  • Plan coordinate and execute software releases across customer environments and geographies

  • Design and implement automated testing deployment and rollback strategies

  • Build andmaintainquality gates and validation frameworks to ensure release readiness

  • Collaborate with software developers QA customer support and product teams to ensure high-quality delivery

  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues across diverse platforms (Windows Linux macOS; Intel ARM) andassistwith root cause analysis

  • Manage andoptimizeinfrastructure across AWS Azure and vSphere environments

  • Build runbooks and documentation for internal teams and end users

  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements during deployments

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of team processesleveragingautomation to ensure efficiency reliability and quality

  • Evaluate and implement new relevant technologies and tools

  • Mentor junior engineers

  • Assistand contribute to intra/inter-team planning
