Job Summary
Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes for a Financial Aid Specialist Ipositionto join our team of exceptional employees. This is an entry-level position in the Office of Financial Aid and Cashier Services. Individuals in this position are trained in all aspects of the Office of Financial Aid and Cashier. The Financial Aid Specialist I provides processing support and disseminates information to students and other staff. Close monitoring is received from department leadership and Financial Aid Specialist II. Work requires close adherence to stated financial aid policies and procedures and applicable federal and state regulations. This position sets the tone for a student-centered high-performance culture that emphasizes excellence in service quality productivity and standards.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited College or University in a related field.
- One (1) year full-time or two (2) years part-time professional work experience in an office combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- Ability to independently travel to other locations for College business.
- Demonstrated experience using a personal computer office software such as MS Office andelectronic mail.
