About the role
We are looking for a curious detail-oriented and driven Business Analyst to join our team and
grow with us. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the insurance industry eager to analyse datasets to pinpoint anomalies and determine if relationships/ connections exist in the data and excited to contribute to the detection and prevention of insurance fraud
The Global Fraud Analyst will play a critical role in identifying analysing and mitigating
fraudulent activity across our global claims operations. This position focuses on leveraging the
data generated from the new fraud detection models to enhance model performance refine
detection strategies calibrate the rules and ensure that emerging fraud risks are identified
promptly and accurately.
You will work on analysing trends identify suspicious patterns and learn and improve fraud
detection systems. If youre naturally inquisitive a strong problem solver and youre excited to
learn the ins and outs of the insurance worldwe want to hear from you.
What were looking for
Proven experience in IT/business analysis or a related analytical role;
a background in data science is preferred.
Experience with SQL Python R or similar analytical tools is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables formulas lookups etc.) and
PowerPoint.
Prior experience in the insurance industry or in fraud detection is a plus. Basic
understanding of major insurance products i.e. Auto Property and Casualty.
Detail-oriented analytical mindset with strong decision-making and problem-solving
abilities. Self-motivated proactive and forward-thinking with the ability to plan
organize and structure work effectively.
Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration Risk Management Computer
Science or a related field is preferred.
