We are currently looking for aHead of Accreditation & Standards to join our People Function within the Corporate group.
This is a full-timeopportunity on a permanent basis. The role will be based in 10 South Colonnade Canary Wharf London E14 4PU.
Government departments and agencies are working towards implementing a minimum 60% attendance in office sites.
We are currently implementing a flexible hybrid way of working with a minimum of 8 days per month working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role this can flex up to 12 days a month with the remainder of time worked either remotely or in the office. Some roles will need to be on site more regularly.

Whats the role
This role sits within thenewly establishedMHRA Academyteamwhichis a newand excitinginitiative aiming to set standards for MHRA Regulatory training and qualification ensuringthat the learning and development provided to key front-line colleagues is of the highest of Accreditation& Standardswill lead on the development and implementation of an accreditation frameworkand associated standardsacross a range of regulatory assessor and inspectorlearningpathwaysand will actas the subject matter expert(SME) forallAcademy relatedaccreditation and learning standards.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the design development implementation and continuous improvement ofanaccreditationframework andstandards across regulatory assessor/inspector roles aligning with best practice regulatory expectations and MHRA strategic goals.
Oversee the curriculum design of related technical programmesensuringalignment oflearning materials and assessments with accreditation requirements.
Build anddevelopstrong working relationships with internal stakeholders (senior leaders line managers SMEs Trades Unions) and external partners (e.g. professional regulators accrediting bodies industry bodies) to inform our accreditationapproach and related curriculumdesign and implementation.
Direct line management of the AccreditationEvaluatorand the Curriculum Manager/Developer ensuring clarity of roles performance expectations andprovisionofdevelopmentalsupportand guidance.
Who are we looking for
Oursuccessful candidatewill have the following:
Experienced candidates with a strong learning background and substantial experience of senior stakeholder engagement to drive collaboration and bring about the successful delivery of challenging specialist accreditation and learning related projects and products.
Given this is a new initiative and the size of the team candidates will have experience of leading from both a strategic and operational perspective.
Individuals will be at ease with taking the lead proposing initiatives and making effective decisions when uncertainty exists.
