Job Summary
Essential Job Functions
- Act as an advanced expeditor with deep understanding of international logistics processes Incoterms and mandatory CIPL (Commercial Invoice & Packing List) data requirements;
- Process and verify purchase orders ensuring accuracy completeness and compliance with procurement and customs regulations;
- Update and maintain accuracy of internal and external expediting systems ensuring visibility of milestones and status;
- Closely monitor purchase order and shipment progress proactively expediting deliveries to meet strict production or project deadlines;
- Liaise with suppliers freight forwarders and internal stakeholders to confirm details solve discrepancies and avoid delays;
- Prepare and validate documents required for international shipments (invoices CIPL certificates etc.);
- Support the team and clients on more advanced technical matters providing expert guidance and troubleshooting;
- Propose and implement out-of-the-box solutions to overcome operational challenges and ensure continuous improvement;
- Identify process gaps and lead initiatives to optimize efficiency compliance and customer satisfaction.
Other Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of international trade Incoterms customs requirements and documentation;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook PowerPoint Word) and expediting systems;
- Degree in International Business Administration Logistics or related field (or equivalent experience);
- Intermediate to advanced English (written and spoken);
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills;
