The Leasing Manager also takes an active role in the external marketing and advertising of vacancies.Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completiontocompany standards.
Explain lease information to residents.
Entering all data into tracking system to track leasing activities.
Walk apartment units prior to showing and occupancy by resident.
Review leasingpaperwork andaudit lease files.
Submit daily weekly and monthly leasing reports as.
Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic.
Ensure online advertising is reviewed and updated daily.
Responsible for training and developing leasing personnelin accordance withcompany policiesand procedures.
Prepare marketing plans leasing strategies and advertising proposals withassistanceof theProperty Manager.
Maintain professional communication with residents applicants and other representatives.
Report all property issues leasing objections and potential liabilities along with recommendations for solving such issues to Property Manager.
Determineleasing opportunitiesofleasing staff and work on goal setting improving the performance of each staff member.
Analyzing shop program results distributes completed evaluations and reviews areas of concern.
Develop implement andmonitorproperty contests/awards/leasing incentives.
Prepare andmaintaincomplete resident and general office files keeping proper documentationat all times.
Maintain Renters Insurance compliancepercompany policies and procedures.
Monitor Month-to-Month leases complete audit and ensure MTM lease compliance.
Track work order activity including monitoring completion each day and follow up warm calls.
Implement andmaintainleaseexpirationmatrixin accordance withestablished policies.
Monitor compliance withrevenuemanagement system andparticipatein weekly calls (if applicable).
Additionalduties asassigned by supervisor.
COMPETENCIES:
Effective communication and customer service skills
Basic computer skills in a Windows environment
Possess a valid real estate license as required by state regulations
Direct the leasing activities of the leasing staff.
Have a courteous and professional attitude
Have good organization skills and be able to meet deadlines
Prepare for all audits and be detailed oriented and well organized
Follow all policies and procedures of Cushman & Wakefield

Bachelors Degreepreferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This joboperatesin a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filingcabinetsand fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.
