Procurement Manager Southern Cluster
Location: Barcelona Spain
Summary
This role sits within Galdermas Indirect Procurement function operating in a global matrix organisation. The position focuses on driving value through category management supplier strategy and strong stakeholder partnerships enabling cost optimisation compliance and business growth within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate local market business needs into global procurement category strategies.
- Lead supplier selection processes including qualification evaluation negotiation and contracting.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and leverage global volumes to deliver savings.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations internal policies and category guidelines.
- Drive demand and spend management while executing savings and continuous process improvements.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business or a related field.
- Proven experience in Category Management within a mature procurement organisation.
- Background in Pharma FMCG or industrial environments; experience in a regulated industry is a strong plus.
- Strong negotiation strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.
- Business proficiency in English; Spanish and/or Italian are a plus.
