Job Summary
Major Responsibilities and Duties:Receiving and accuracy of shipments and record any discrepancies or with loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed. crates and other containers using hand tools to unpack items damaged items and immediately notify ordering all shipments are signed for at the campus and department by the appropriate personnel. shipments have been signed for and accepted notify ordering department that the shipment has been requisitions from stock items. Verify accuracy of orders and deliver materials as needed. store and organize records room. Assist personnel in location of specific records. appropriate records for destruction. Complete accurate records related to records and store items according to established inventory systems and procedures. inventory that is distributed form the warehouse to campuses and physical inventory of warehoused equipment tools and supplies and verify against inventory control totals. Maintain inventory physical inventory of School Nutrition commodities and non-commodity items and verify against inventory control totals. Maintain inventory additional supplies from purchasing department as custody records for items being repaired and temporarily on established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and carrying. Operate tools equipment and vehicles according to prescribed safety unsafe conditions in work area and promptly report any conditions that are not immediately correctable to vehicles and equipment following established inspection procedures to identify needed repairs. Ensure delivery vehicles are kept clean and washed on a regular and maintain warehouse equipment i.e. pallet jack and fork and mop distribution center once a week or more if out the trash from the large trash receptacle to the dumpster at the end of each School Nutrition commodity items from nonoperational freezers and deliver to warehouse location until other duties as assigned.
