The Medical Affairs Manager of Oncology is part of the oncology medical department. It is a key strategic leadership role that requires expertise in the therapeutic area to identify and address the relevant medical needs of clinical practice.
This position has a significant impact on our ability to effectively translate medical science into relevant business opportunities with high standards of local compliance and regulatory requirements.
The role requires the ability to interact with a kind of different internal and external stakeholders such as key scientific leaders marketing and sales peers decision makers payers and regulatory authorities to effectively address the technical issues of our products and therapeutic areas of interest. It also requires extraordinary leadership and empathy to successfully thrive a high-performing team.
The Oncology Medical Manager needs to be versatile in different areas of pathology to be able to cover different indications for oncology products.
In addition the Medical Affairs Manager acts as guardian of the high standards of compliance ethics and safety of the companys products placing patients at the center of their actions. Experience in people management is not essential but it is welcome.
